Château Plaisance is an 18th century old country manor which formerly belonged to the famous Bordeaux restaurateur Dubern. Since 2005, the estate has been runed by Philippe Magrez, son of Bernard Margrez and he is also a 4th generation winegrower. Here, the best modern winemaking techniques are being combined with the finest Bordeaux traditions.
The 23 hectares vineyard of Château Plaisance is settled on a steep hill with a south sun exposure, benefiting from exceptional sunshine and high temperatures that allows a complete ripening of the grapes.

91 Points - David Lawrason
This is an impressive Bordeaux for $25. There is good lift on the nose with heightened peony florality, raspberry, fresh cedar and basil. It is medium-full bodied, fairly plush and dense yet nicely strcutured, with quite gritty somewhat green and bitter tannin. Give it three years; should last beyond 2030 The length is excellent.

This is a fine wine, rich and dense from a 43-acre vineyard in the west of the appellation. The alcohol is fully integrated with the ripe tannins from 12 months in wood, now softening and releasing the black-currant flavors. Drink from 2026.
