Proudly family owned, the Borthwick vineyard is an established vineyard situated in Gladstone, the heart of the Wairarapa. Producing quality wine for over a decade, Paddy, an experienced wine maker, has gained a reputation for producing consistently great wines. At the southerly point of Africa along the Cape South Coast, Elgin stands out as the coolest region for wine production. Situated 450 meters above sea level on the southern ridge overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, lies Iona vineyards, surrounded by the UNESCO-certified Kogelberg Biosphere. Here, a unique microclimate is shaped by the close proximity to the freezing Atlantic Ocean and rapid altitude rise. Misty clouds shield the vineyards from intense sun exposure, filtering the sunlight to promote slow ripening. This results in grapes with perfect acidity, moderate alcohol, and beautifully developed flavours.

Iona's vineyards are meticulously tended by hand using organic and biodynamic methods, prioritizing soil health and integrated pest management. This philosophy extends to their cellar practices, where minimal intervention is required thanks to the exceptional quality of their fruit.

The Piantini family's journey began in Chiusa di Pesio, Italy, where their ancestors left their wine-producing heritage to seek new opportunities in Mendoza, Argentina. Several generations later, the family acquired vineyards in the Cachapoal Valley from the founders of Winery Lagar de Bezana. In 2017, under the new ownership, the winery underwent a transformation, modernizing its processes and facilities, and was rebranded as Lagar de Codegua Terroir. Château Tour des Termes derives its name from an ancient tower on a plot known as "the Terms," believed to have served as a lighthouse during the Gallo-Roman era. However, the estate’s legacy is deeply rooted in the history of the Anney family, who have overseen the vineyard’s development for generations. Since 1979, Jean and Christophe Anney have modernized the estate through significant investments in infrastructure and vineyard management, earning Château Tour des Termes recognition as one of the top Crus Bourgeois. 

This classic wine boasts a magnificent nose filled with dark, brooding forest fruits, sweet spices, and smoky nuances. Exuding class and elegance, it presents ripe, focused fruit layered with cassis, blackberry, and raspberry, harmoniously intertwined with delicate floral notes. Sister’s Run is serious fun and serious wine. The talented, young winemaker Elena Brooks (of Dandelion Vineyards and Heirloom Vineyards fame) wears steel cap work boots every day of course, but carries a pair of high heels in back of the ute for emergencies - like last minute invitations to accept trophies at gala wine show dinners and the like! 

The Old Testament vineyard is located in the heart of the Coonawarra. The resulting wine produced suggests ripe mulberry and blueberry aromatics with gentle notes of  shaved pencil and menthol on the nose. Soft red berry fruits begin to unfold on the palate, finishing with a spiced-liqueur like quality, carried by velvety tannins and perfectly judged acidity.

Nicolas Potel is an iconic producer and pioneer in the Burgundy winemaking scene. Fresne-Ducret is rich in family history and has been rooted in the premier cru village of Villedommange since the mid 1800s. Originally growing grapes for large champagne houses, it wasn’t until the end of the second world war that the family decided to make their own wine. The tradition carries on today with Pierre Fresne and his wife Daniella, who are the embodiment of the Fresne Ducret story: at the crossroads of cultures and history. They represent a new generation of winemakers devoted to the future of champagne, keen to preserve the land that has sustained their family for so long. 

Part of the 'Arquémie' collection of micro-cuvées—a nod to medieval alchemy—these exceptional wines are crafted by Pierre, tailored to each vintage profile. The N°7 Blanc de Blancs exhibits impressive maturity and complexity on the nose, with a rich autolytic character emerging in the glass. It boasts a remarkable balance of sweetness and acidity, featuring a soft palate where persistent effervescence enhances its creamy texture. Cantina Bolzano, South Tyrol's largest cooperative winery, represents a union of over 224 growers from 350 hectares of Bolzano's finest vineyards. Formed in 2001 by merging the historical Gries Winery (1908) and St. Magdalena Winery (1930), Cantina Bolzano combines traditional expertise with a youthful, visionary approach. Grapes are sourced across a variety of distinctive vineyard locations, ranging from 240 to 800 meters above sea level, utilizing both alluvial valley floors and sandy hillside soils. Their rigorous selection process and green cultivation methods yield high-quality grapes, resulting in a wide range of wines across their Classic, Election, and Riserva lines.

Réva winery focuses on producing wines of excellence with extreme attention to the particular characteristics of each grape variety and the utmost respect for diversity. All the vineyards are cultivated organically and the estate is run by a group of young professionals who value both tradition and innovation.

The Lazzarito cru extends in the exact half of the long strip of land drawn by the municipality of Serralunga d'Alba. Soils are characterized by the Arenarie di Diano, composed of marl, sand and a high content of limestone. This gives Barolos of fine colour that are full and round with incredible structure and texture. Cultivated from a single hectare plot and made from 100% Nebbiolo (Clone Lampia), the 2016 was aged for 36 months in large Austrian oak barrels, followed by further aging in bottle for and additional 24 months. 

This Riserva boasts a bouquet rich in fruity aromas of cherry, blackberry, and rhubarb, with hints of balsamic and herbal mint-laced nuances. On the palate, it showcases the power of this renowned cru, featuring a robust yet balanced structure. A breakout star in the Etna DOC of Sicily, Tornatore has become one of the region's largest and most respected wineries. Established back in 1865, the estate continues to be run by the same family who have acted as the faithful custodians of the land for generations. Tending to high altitude vineyards on the north side of the active volcano, the conditions are ideal for indigenous grape varieties to thrive. The wines are distinctive bottlings which encapsulate the essence of Mount Etna and effortlessly reveal the unique characteristics that make the region one to watch.

Connoisseurs of Etna wines recognize Contrada Calderara as a top cru, known for its unique soil of black pumice and basalt from ancient lava flows. Covered with large heat-retaining stones, this area, aptly named Calderara (or caldron), releases stored heat during cool nights, allowing the grapes to capture the soil's minerality, resulting in transparent and vibrant wines.

Established in 1930, Domaine Tour Saint Michel has remained a cherished family property since the very beginning. Founded by Michel Fabre, who acquired the original vines still in use today, the legacy was passed to his son, Henri. Together with his wife, Eliane, they cultivated and expanded the estate over the years. Presently, the Domaine encompasses 44 hectares, including 30 hectares in the prestigious Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation. Since 2007, Mireille has overseen the vineyards, honouring familial traditions while embracing a modern approach. She is joined by her daughter, Magali, in upholding the tradition of excellence into the future.

Cantina Bolzano, South Tyrol's largest cooperative winery, represents a union of over 224 growers from 350 hectares of Bolzano's finest vineyards. Formed in 2001 by merging the historical Gries Winery (1908) and St. Magdalena Winery (1930), Cantina Bolzano combines traditional expertise with a youthful, visionary approach. Grapes are sourced across a variety of distinctive vineyard locations, ranging from 240 to 800 meters above sea level, utilizing both alluvial valley floors and sandy hillside soils. Fresne-Ducret is rich in family history and has been rooted in the premier cru village of Villedommange since the mid 1800s. Originally growing grapes for the big champagne houses, it wasn’t until the end of the second world war that the family decided to make their own wine. The tradition carries on today with Pierre Fresne and his wife Daniella (an Oakville ex-pat). Their philosophy is to produce wines that best exemplify the terroir of Villedommange, and they do this with sustainability in mind.

The New Explorers is an initiatory journey through the Premier Cru lands of Champagne Fresne Ducret. It is an invitation to meet those who have forged the image of the family house. Produced mainly from Pinot Meunier, which was once the only grape variety in Villedommange, this vintage first reveals the freshness of its yellow apple aromas before lifting the veil on more complex notes of honeyed toast and raspberry. The bubbles are fine and persistent but the true highlight of this wine comes from its thirst-quenching acidity.

Nicolas Potel is an iconic producer and pioneer in the Burgundy winemaking scene. He grew up in a family dedicated to wine; and after gaining some experience internationally, he started his own project in the late 90's. The Maison Roche de Bellene offers a complete range of carefully cultivated and versatile wines, often made from old vines. All of the Maison wines are made with respect to sustainable and natural farming practices, with as little intervention as necessary to showcase their individual terroirs.

A fresh and elegant Morey-Saint-Denis made from old vines, highlighting floral and red-fruit notes characteristic of the vintage. Scents of candied cranberries combine with notes of wild strawberry and toasted barrel spice while light, fine-grained tannins and bright acids render a highly approachable style. Despite its youthful exuberance, the wine's structure hints at its ability to further develop with bottle age.

Francisco Baettig and Carlos de Carlos cut their teeth in the wine industry as part of the well known Errázuriz operation, where they worked together for many years. Inspired by their mutual love of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the talented enologist and savvy businessman branched out to create Vinos Baettig. Produced in small batches and sold as limited editions to selected buyers, their wines have swiftly become some of the most interesting & highly lauded among the emerging talents of Chile.

This Selección de Parcelas was made with Chardonnay grapes grown in Malleco, in the appellation of Traiguén. Malleco is a land of wild forests, beautiful lakes, active volcanoes and abundant rain in southern Chilean. The name Los Primos (the cousins) refers to the closeness of style and quality of the vineyard parcels (named Triángulo and Llaima) that give rise to this wine.

Aromatic and highly complex with notes of pear, apricot, nougat & acacia subtly underscored by whiffs of honeyed wax and sliced almonds & walnuts. The palate is deep and reveals elegant weight with a creamy texture. Abounding with flavours of golden apple, passion fruit, honey, hay and sweet spices, the body and density are harmoniously balanced by the acidity. This is fresh, lively and tense, with a long finish and great aging potential.

Proudly family owned, the Borthwick vineyard is an established vineyard situated in Gladstone, the heart of the Wairarapa. Producing quality wine for over a decade, Paddy, an experienced wine maker, has gained a reputation for producing consistently great wines. The twenty seven hectares of vines bordering the Ruamahunga River are growing on stony, free draining, alluvial soils, with a micro climate giving warm daily temperatures, cool nights and low rainfall; perfect conditions for producing distinctive, quality wines.

Traditional Burgundian techniques and minimal handling has produced a Pinot Noir with an intense bouquet of cherries and plums. Flavours of earth and spice complement a rich silky palate with a purity of fruit and finely integrated tannin structure.
