Husband and wife duo Ilya and Nadia started Leaning Post winery in Niagara over 10 years ago. Initially a virtual set up, the winery now located on Highway 8, has become a reference producer in Niagara.

This blended wine (61% Merlot, 39& Cabernet Franc) always over-delivers massively for the price. Blackberry, cassis, raspberry and mulberry instantly appear on the nose, with lilac, cracked white pepper, licorice and pancetta following closely behind. On the palate, the warmth and weight of the 2020 vintage is immediately evident, with a very broad and weighty mid-palate featuring plum, wild-blueberry, and strawberry layered over dark- chocolate and graphite with wisps of herbs-de-provence and black olive fading in and out.

The powerful but soft tannins make it satisfying to drink now with a good decant, but it will certainly age well over the next 5-8 years. Great with burgers, cured meat, and hard cheese.

A blend of fruit from 4 different vineyards from the best appellations across Niagara, the 2021 Pinot Noir is the epitome of the Leaning Post style. This wine combines classic “P(inot)-funk” flavours of candy cane beet root, earth, leaves and dirt with stunning bing cherry and raspberry.  Made in a style that is slightly more approachable than our single-vineyard Pinots, it still shows incredible depth and complexity. The incredibly supple mouthfeel, medium body and balanced acidity frame exceptional flavour intensity, leading to a long, sweeping finish the ends on a decidedly mineral and crunchy note.

Pair this Pinot Noir with smoky glazed ham or easy lentil curry.

This wine will age for 4 to 5 years.  

Spicy & Tropical

Husband and wife duo Ilya and Nadia started Leaning Post winery in Niagara over 10 years ago. Initially a virtual set up, the winery now located on Highway 8, has become a reference producer in Niagara.

Harvested on September 25, 2021, the grapes were destemmed, into concrete tanks where it went through a spontaneous fermentation. It remained in concrete and aged on skins for 25 days, then it was gently pressed into clay amphora (17%) and stainless steel (83%). This wine was racked only a handful of times prior to being bottled unfiltered on April 13, 2022.

This wine represents the evolving nature of wine in Niagara. Orange marmalade, jalapeño pepper jelly, and passionfruit dominate the nose and palate, while elderflower honey, cream and lemon dominate the palate with a rich and oily texture. It is all tied together with bracing acidity, gorgeous texture and a seam of fine tannin. Chill and drink as it warms to reveal new facets of its unique personality.

Enjoy with fish tacos or fish and chips.

Zesty & Mineral

Mature vines really display the wonderful minerality of the Twenty Mile Bench in Vineland. This Chardonnay has fantastic peach, pear and hazelnut aromas while on the palate, pineapple, mandarin orange, lemon curd, and crème-brulee play off a mineral base. A round, mouth-filling texture is balanced by good acidity leading to a long, supple finish.

Drink with lemon roasted chicken, semi-soft cheese, and freshly baked bread. It will age well for the next 5-8 years if you can wait.

Domaine Charly Nicolle was created with less than one hectare in 1979 by Robert Nicolle and Josette Laroche, who can both trace their winemaking heritage in Fleys back to the late 19th century. Since the creation of the Domaine, they have increased the size of their vineyards bit by bit, and today the Domaine produces wine from 20 hectares of vines. In 1999, they were joined by their son Charly, who had just graduated from the lycée viticole. Charly is now officially in charge of the Domaine, together with his wife Lucie, but Robert is still out in the vines nearly every day. The largest holdings of the Domaine are in AOC Chablis, located mostly around the family's beloved village of Fleys.

With a brilliant straw-yellow hue, this wine shines with exceptional clarity. The nose is delicate and pure, showcasing floral notes that reflect its clay-limestone origins. On the palate, it reveals the depth and complexity of a Grand Cru, where vibrant minerality meets rich, powerful layers of ripe fruit. Elegant yet expressive, this wine embodies both its terroir and its pedigree.

Nicolas Potel is an iconic producer and pioneer in the Burgundy winemaking scene. He grew up in a family dedicated to wine; and after gaining some experience internationally, he started his own project in the late 90's. The Maison Roche de Bellene offers a complete range of carefully cultivated and versatile wines, often made from old vines. All of the Maison wines are made with respect to sustainable and natural farming practices, with as little intervention as necessary to showcase their individual terroirs.

The 2022 vintage delivered another year of excellent ripeness and high-quality grapes. Lively and expressive, this wine opens with bright aromas of citrus—lemon and grapefruit—alongside delicate notes of pear and crisp apple. Subtle mineral nuances, characteristic of the region, add depth, while a hint of florals enhances its elegant bouquet. On the palate, it is fresh and vibrant, with crisp acidity that brings energy and precision. Flavours of juicy orchard fruits are layered with slate-like minerality and a touch of salinity, leading to a clean, refreshing finish that lingers beautifully.

A striking expression of old-vine Cabernet Sauvignon, seamlessly balancing structure, depth, and vibrant energy. The nose opens with ripe black plum and cassis aromas, unfolding into layers of savoury tapenade, earthy woodland notes, and a delicate lift of sweet balsam. This Selección de Parcelas was made with Chardonnay grapes grown in Malleco, in the appellation of Traiguén. Malleco is a land of wild forests, beautiful lakes, active volcanoes and abundant rain in southern Chilean. The name Los Primos (the cousins) refers to the closeness of style and quality of the vineyard parcels (named Triángulo and Llaima) that give rise to this wine. 

Highly refined and expertly balanced, this vintage of Los Primos Chardonnay tenders aromas of citrus fruits, orange blossoms, honeysuckle and jasmine with light splashes of walnuts tossed in sweet spices. It has great energy and precision, but above all it stands out for its mineral texture and depth. Expect to find green apple and crunchy peach lasting long into the saline-tinged finish. 

Consider pairing with shellfish and crustaceans - think lobster, crab, bivalves, shrimp, prawns & scallops! White meats also work very well, such as pork tenderloin or veal chops.

Oenops was founded in 2015 by talented winemaker Nikos Karatzas, who produces a stunning range of distinctive wines from his newly established state-of-the-art winery. He sources indigenous and rare grape varieties grown on exceptional terroir focusing on cool-climate sites and old-vine plots, from carefully selected vineyards in Drama and Macedonia, which have been cultivated by ambitious winegrowers using an organic philosophy. 

Niko adopts a minimal intervention approach and vinifies plot by plot using stainless steel, concrete, oak barrels, and amphora. His aim is to source great fruit and craft wines that reflect the nuances of the native varieties and the identity of the terroir and as a result, he produces a collection of authentic, elegant, and delicious wines. 

The “Dots family” consists of single-varietal wines from indigenous varieties; it is named this way after its illusional label of dots where one can find the name of the variety the wine is made from Exceptional terroirs, minimal intervention viticulture, and wine making with a unique goal: to express clearly and honestly each variety’s character.

After careful sorting and a short cold-soak, slow spontaneous fermentation takes place in tulip-shaped 31hl concrete tanks and a small portion in 5hl open top barrels. 5%-8% whole cluster. Blended right after fermentation, it is aged for 10 months on its fine lees in amphorae. Bottled unfiltered to retain its natural character and elegance.

Cherries and floral notes on the nose enveloped by spices and some mineral notes. On the palate, it is very fruity (cherries and strawberries), with fresh acidity and a very elegant and long finish.

Grapes are sourced from contract growers, mostly from mountainous sites of Heraklion, Crete. After their chilling at 5°C, the grapes are carefully sorted and pressed as whole clusters in a vertical press. Spontaneous fermentation takes place slowly in 4 different types of vessels, from 4 different elements: clay amphorae, concrete tanks, large barrels of 600L and stainless steel tanks, providing the wine with impressive complexity and depth.
Wine is aged for 6 to 9 months in amphorae and concrete tanks, with only a small percentage in the old large barrels, in order to preserve all of its purity of fruit and taste; after that, wine is bottled unfiltered to retain its purity and elegance.

Complex nose of citrus with hints of white flowers and herbs on a mineral shade. It is creamy and layered in the mouth with flavors of stone fruits, lime and spices. It’s lively acidity provides freshness to the wine and a persistent after taste.

Great match for fish, oysters, Asian cuisine, pasta, and a wide selection of cheeses.

Welcome to the intimate world of Quevedo, a small, family-owned winery where quality is a treasured tradition. The Quevedo family's viticultural heritage spans over five generations, beginning with Abel Gouveia Costa, who planted the first vines in 1889. Through the years, the family diligently expanded their vineyards, culminating in the 1970s when Oscar and Beatriz Quevedo modernized their facilities and established the Quevedo winery in 1993. Today, Quevedo oversees 100 hectares of vineyards and 25 hectares of organic olive groves, with current proprietors Cláudia and Oscar Quevedo Jr. continuing the legacy of crafting exceptional wines.

A very limited quantity was produced with the best grapes of the 2018 harvest. Bottled 2 years after the harvest. 

This vintage dated Port boasts a rich and expressive nose, with heady aromas of blueberry, cherry, and plum, complemented by hints of cacao and wildflowers. The palate is densely packed, leaning towards a drier, more structured style, showcasing elegance and balance. Its profile highlights complex layers of coffee beans and dried liquorice, with with fine, round tannins supporting its brambly fruit. A long, persistent finish reveals lasting notes of dark chocolate.

Decanting before serving is recommended - enjoy with blue cheese or chocolate.

Thompson Steer winery was established in 1990 and is based in the Coonawarra region of the Limestone Coast. The winery itself is named after the meandering lakes and adjoining fields to the vineyards that neighbour the country town of Mundulla. The wines made under this brand reflect all that is unique to this wine growing location. 

A fruit-forward wine brimming with bold flavours of blackcurrant, dark plum, and cherry. Subtle nuances of toasted oak and bitter chocolate balance the richness of the fruit, while velvety tannins lend texture and depth, culminating in a full, rounded mouthfeel. Amidst its intensity, a delicate undercurrent of cedar lingers on the finish, adding a touch of elegance and lift to each sip.

Hardy's constructed the Stonehaven Winery in 1998 with the purpose of showcasing the distinct qualities of the Limestone Coast region in Southern Australia. Following Hardy's acquisition by Constellation and subsequent brand expansion, the winery fell into dormancy after being sold. In early 2021, C.W. Wines acquired both the Stonehaven winery and brand, subsequently reintroducing the Stonehaven label to the market. Now sporting a revitalized appearance and market strategy, Stonehaven aims to appeal to contemporary wine enthusiasts, offering a wine selection suitable for any occasion.

Sourced from 20-year-old estate vineyards, this Cab Sauv presents classic notes of black fruits and dark chocolate, with subtle hints of fragrant herbs and eucalyptus. The palate is smooth and approachable, thanks to careful winemaking and small-batch fermentation. Aged in 30% French oak, the wine takes on added structure and complexity, with delicate nuances of vanilla and spice.

Peter Sichel (of the Bordeaux négociant family) first discovered the valley of Cucugnan on a road trip with a friend in the 1960s. He was so spellbound by the place that he bought a house there and, in 1988, planted a vineyard. The project grew, albeit slowly, but the arrival of Peter’s thoughtful and environmentally inspired grandson, Alexander Sichel, has turned the Domaine Peter Sichel project completely around.

Montanha is made from Grenache . The vines are cultivated between 300 and 400 meters above sea level on clay-limestone mountain slopes. After a short infusion of 2.5 days, the must is pressed and the wine finishes its fermentation in concrete vats .

Montanha, meaning "Mountain" in Occitan, is a refreshing infusion crafted from fresh mountain fruits. The wine presents a clear ruby hue, accompanied by a clean and expressive nose featuring notes of red fruits and wild strawberries. Its profile reveals a fine and elegant structure, making it a delightful experience for the senses.
