Ripe aromas of white peach, winter melon, and a hint of Cape Jasmine greet the nose with inviting freshness in the glass. The palate is elegantly balanced with a medium body, leading to a crisp, refreshing finish that lingers beautifully.

Thanks to Chenin Blanc’s bright acidity and defined fruit flavours, it pairs beautifully with dishes that balance sweet and sour elements—think Southeast Asian cuisine or pork chops with caramelized apples. It’s also a great match for grilled or barbecued shrimp!

The Winery of Good Hope is more than just a winery - it's an approach. Along with making lively and approachable wines, this is a project that's fully accredited for environmental, ethical, and social upliftment practices. Wines are made in the prestigious wine-making region of Stellenbosch, in South Africa’s Cape of Good Hope. 

Grown in the Helderberg area on decomposed granite soils, these bush vine grapes benefit from cooling ocean breezes that temper the region’s warm climate. Harvested at different stages of ripeness, they help build vibrant acidity and layered fruit complexity in the wine. The result is a beautifully fresh and expressive, dry Chenin Blanc, brimming with aromas of green apple and white peach. Juicy and intense on the palate, it showcases remarkable depth of fruit and a long, lingering finish. 

With its bright character and refreshing persistence, this wine is a perfect companion for warm summer days and balmy evenings.

More than just a brand, Black Elephant Vintners & Co. represents a movement rooted in the beautiful Franschhoek Valley, where tradition seamlessly meets bold innovation. A classic blend of Chardonnay (75%) contributing fruit and elegance and Pinot Noir (25%) for complexity and length of flavour. At the southerly point of Africa along the Cape South Coast, Elgin stands out as the coolest region for wine production. Situated 450 meters above sea level on the southern ridge overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, lies Iona vineyards, surrounded by the UNESCO-certified Kogelberg Biosphere. Here, a unique microclimate is shaped by the close proximity to the freezing Atlantic Ocean and rapid altitude rise. Misty clouds shield the vineyards from intense sun exposure, filtering the sunlight to promote slow ripening. This results in grapes with perfect acidity, moderate alcohol, and beautifully developed flavours.

Iona's vineyards are meticulously tended by hand using organic and biodynamic methods, prioritizing soil health and integrated pest management. This philosophy extends to their cellar practices, where minimal intervention is required thanks to the exceptional quality of their fruit.

Stylish and Burgundian with bright citrus, white stone fruit, oyster shell minerality and a hint of brioche. The purity of fruit combined with well-judged oak and bright fresh acidity result in a wine that is layered and complex with a lingering finish.

A great match with seafood based dishes - serve alongside Sea Bass with Beurre Blanc or seared scallops.
