Château Tour des Termes derives its name from an ancient tower on a plot known as "the Terms," believed to have served as a lighthouse during the Gallo-Roman era. However, the estate’s legacy is deeply rooted in the history of the Anney family, who have overseen the vineyard’s development for generations. Since 1979, Jean and Christophe Anney have modernized the estate through significant investments in infrastructure and vineyard management, earning Château Tour des Termes recognition as one of the top Crus Bourgeois.
This classic wine boasts a magnificent nose filled with dark, brooding forest fruits, sweet spices, and smoky nuances. Exuding class and elegance, it presents ripe, focused fruit layered with cassis, blackberry, and raspberry, harmoniously intertwined with delicate floral notes. The Merlot adds a refreshing lift and softness, culminating in a pure, dark fruit character on the finish.
