Introducing our thoughtfully curated mixed case, featuring three distinctive white wines from Europe's most esteemed regions. Our favourite Bordeaux Blanc, Chateau Haute Grelot is a crisp and refreshing blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon from the rolling vineyards of southwest France. Next, we have the Grechetto from Umbria, Italy, showcasing this indigenous grape's characteristic notes of green apple and citrus. Rounding out the trio is Tornatore Etna Bianco from Sicily, with its unique mineral-driven profile and hints of stone fruit.

This diverse selection offers a thrilling exploration of white wine styles, perfect for wine enthusiasts looking to expand their palate and discover new favourites.

Each mixed case includes 6 bottles of each wine.

4 bottles x Château Haut Grelot Sauvignon Blanc Côtes de Blaye (Bordeaux, France)

This is a classic Bordeaux blend: 90% Sauvignon Blanc, 5% Sémillon & 5% Muscadelle. It's a floral, crisp and elegant wine that offers exotic fruit aromas: grapefruit, gooseberry and wild herbs that intermingle with ample citrus fruit on the palate. It has a generous weight, roundness and a perfect balance that let's you savour every drop.

Pairing suggestion: Perfect to drink by itself or pair with seafood, chicken, fresh salads and cheese boards.

4 bottles x Cantina Cenci Anticello Grechetto 2022 (Umbria, Italy)
White | Grechetto

Once the site of a monastery of the Olivetan order, Giovanni Cenci lives and works his family’s generations- old farm, producing some of the most compelling, complete wines of the region. Wine has of course been crucial to this site for hundreds of years, not just because of the people who have worked the land, but rather the uniqueness of the place itself: massive blocks of travertine marble are visible alongside limestone-rich clay soils, giving the wines definition alongside meaningful substance.

Anticello is made with Grechetto grapes, which are destemmed and left in contact with skins for about an hour before starting fermentation. The grapes are then fermented in stainless steel (80%) and wooden barrels (20%). It ages for 7 months in steel with frequent bâtonnage. On the glass, it has a deep straw yellow colour with golden hues. On the nose, it has aromas of stone fruit, citrus, and wild flowers. The palate is fruity, savoury, fresh, slightly tannic, soft and powerful.

4 bottles x Tornatore Etna Bianco DOC 2022 (Sicily, Italy)
White | Carricante

A rising star in the Etna region, Tornatore is becoming one of the region's biggest and most respected wineries. Their vineyards are located at an altitude of 1,000 meters above sea level on the north side of this active volcano.

This Etna Bianco is made with the indigenous grape Carricante aged in concrete vats. The wine offers pleasant hints of grapefruit, white peach and herbs on the nose. The palate has a lovely texture and freshness complemented by an extraordinary minerality. It is perfect with young and medium-aged cheeses, poultry and fish.

About the Winery

Azienda Agricola Tornatore

Out of a Sicilian family heritage that traces back to the 17th century, the Tornatore’s Mount Etna wine ventures began in 1865. Today the family’s operations are headed by Giuseppe Tornatore, a businessman whose expertise led to the acquisition of some of the region’s finest north-facing vineyards in the early 2000’s. That heritage and the Tornatore’s profound respect and understanding of the land is showcased in wines that capture the essence of Etna, deftly balancing concentrated flavors, complexity, freshness and refinement.

The company lies in the northern side of Mount Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe. The soils have volcanic origin and were created through the disintegration of lava, ash and stones from previous volcanic eruptions. The climate on the northern side of the Etna is characterized by mild temperatures, and more rain fall reflecting the influence of the Volcano. The combination of soil, climate and the skill of the winemakers, have made the northern slope of Etna an ideal area for the production of high-quality wines. “Our vineyards and our winery are only a few kilometers from our family home. Our entire family is rooted there. We have the greatest respect for this region, and we believe we have a responsibility to be stewards of Etna and to reflect its distinct character in our wines.” - Giuseppe Tornatore
