Radford Dale stands as one of South Africa’s premier independent wineries, renowned for crafting site-specific, natural wines that marry innovation with tradition. With two distinct wineries—one nestled in the Helderberg Mountain of Stellenbosch and the other an Organic Estate in Elgin—all Radford Dale wines are united by a single ethos: to produce the finest wines without succumbing to commercial trends or outdated practices. The Vinum began with two of the Cape’s most celebrated grapes, Chenin and Pinotage. Building on this legacy the range has now been expanded to incorporate four other wines, a Chardonnay, Gamay, Grenache and a Pinot Noir.

Lemon blossom and mandarin notes combine on the nose, while a touch of brioche hints at barrel fermentation. Lively acidity and lemon zest add zip to the palate after which notes of white peach lead into a generously round mid palate. The finish is taut and crisp leaving one with a clean, mineral lift.

Fresne-Ducret is rich in family history and has been rooted in the premier cru village of Villedommange since the mid 1800s. Originally growing grapes for large champagne houses, it wasn’t until the end of the second world war that the family decided to make their own wine. The tradition carries on today with Pierre Fresne and his wife Daniella, who are the embodiment of the Fresne Ducret story: at the crossroads of cultures and history. They represent a new generation of winemakers devoted to the future of champagne, keen to preserve the land that has sustained their family for so long. 

Part of the 'Arquémie' collection of micro-cuvées—a nod to medieval alchemy—these exceptional wines are crafted by Pierre, tailored to each vintage profile. The N°7 Blanc de Blancs exhibits impressive maturity and complexity on the nose, with a rich autolytic character emerging in the glass. It boasts a remarkable balance of sweetness and acidity, featuring a soft palate where persistent effervescence enhances its creamy texture. Along with secondary notes of custard and toasted nuts, there are abundant citrus and orchard fruit flavours that bring out the youthfulness still very present in the wine. A superb addition to any cellar.

Oysters and caviar are timeless companions for Blanc de Blancs, perfectly complementing the wine's intensity and freshness. You may also consider pairing it with fried calamari, or with smoked fish such as salmon or trout.

Spicy & Peppery

RR81 stands for 'Regional Road 81' - the road The Farm sits on, and a main artery through wine country. The RR81 approach to winemaking is simply fermented grapes with nothing added. One-off wines sourced from some of the best single vineyards in Niagara. These wines are made in the barn at The Farm with minimal intervention (just a few bins and an old basket press). The result equals some of the best, and most unique, wines coming out of Niagara.

Naturally fermented, unfined and unfiltered. The grapes were handpicked on October 4th, and fermented with a mix of whole berry and whole bunch. It was then pressed and transferred into neutral French oak barrels and aged on primary lees. Only 6 barrels made.

Spice is the name of the game with this wine; the party gets going with a generous pinch of white pepper on the nose. The palate kicks off with savoury notes of fresh dill and the perfect July heirloom tomato you spend the rest of the year longing for, followed by dark, crunchy, just-ripe blackberries.

Established in 1930, Domaine Tour Saint Michel has remained a cherished family property since the very beginning. Founded by Michel Fabre, who acquired the original vines still in use today, the legacy was passed to his son, Henri. Together with his wife, Eliane, they cultivated and expanded the estate over the years. Presently, the Domaine encompasses 44 hectares, including 30 hectares in the prestigious Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation. Since 2007, Mireille has overseen the vineyards, honouring familial traditions while embracing a modern approach. She is joined by her daughter, Magali, in upholding the tradition of excellence into the future.

Made from select lieux-dits, this Châteauneuf projects aromas of rich black cherries and preserves with subtle hints of dried tea leaves and savoury accents. Full-bodied and structured, it showcases ripe tannins and mature fruit flavours seamlessly integrated with whiffs of cracked pepper and traces of garrigue. Adding depth to the wine's classic charm is a lingering impression of licorice on the finish.

Great with hearty dishes like a 7-hour slow roasted leg of lamb, lamb tagine, or prime rib.

It begins with a sparkle of salted lemon and an aroma reminiscent of the beautiful land on which it is grown - County limestone shale. The velvety shortbread and macadamia nut flavours on the palate are derived from its Traditional Method style, aging 2 years on lees in this very bottle. Santé!

Toasty & Citrusy

Husband and wife duo Ilya and Nadia started Leaning Post winery in Niagara over 10 years ago. Initially a virtual set up, the winery now located on Highway 8, has become a reference producer in Niagara. The Chardonnay in this wine comes from a beautiful old vines (35+ years old) block, while the Pinot Noir is from a younger block on the same property in Beamsville Bench.

If you can imagine dipping a freshly baked lemon/herb croissant into a cloud then you have some idea of how this wine tastes! The toasty/biscuity and lemon-curd aspect leaps immediately out of the glass, with a background of crème-fraiche and flowers. The palate is full and round, with a very fine mousse showing fresh-baked bread, lemon meringue, roasted almond and unicorn-dust. The terroir and old-vines really come through on the finish with an amazing mineral/flinty core and very present acidity.

Enjoy now, but this wine will age gracefully over the next 8+ years if you want it to. Drink with fresh Malpeque oysters, hazelnut crusted halibut, and soft white cheeses.

Tropical & Fresh

Leaning Post's goal for their Sauvignon Blanc is to reflect the unique Niagara terroir and this wine always delivers. 

Very intense tropical aromas of pineapple, passionfruit and mango lead to kiwi, lemongrass and lime-leaf on the nose. The palate has bright acidity matched by a creamy texture, with key-lime and starfruit battling with passionfruit for supremacy, while lemongrass and honeysuckle stand back and watch. The finish is the most surprising, with the flintiest, most “wet stones in a mountain stream” minerality we have ever seen on our Sauvignon Blanc!

Drink now or over the next 3 years. Enjoy with pan-fried halibut, fresh pesto; anchovy-paste pasta, or lemon herb roasted chicken.

Tenerife - DOP Islas Canarias

Juan Jesús Méndez is a proud native of Tenerife and the fourth generation of winegrowers. Driven by passion and love for his homeland, he has overseen Bodegas Viñátigo for almost thirty-five years. He has been studying and recovering the almost-extinct grape varieties that were brought to the Canary Islands by European settlers since the 15th century. He has made of Viñátigo a reference winery in the region.

The grape Listán Blanco de Canarias was brought to the Canary Islands in the 18th century by the Andalusian conquers. Viñátigo cultivates it in the high-lands that sit at 500 meters of altitude.

The vines are trained in ‘parrales’, a training method inherited by the Portuguese community that settled on the northern part of the island back in the 15th century. These vertical structures adapt to the hills and ravines created by the last eruptions of Teide volcano towards the north of the island. This wine is very fresh and has a vibrant acidity. On the nose, it has fragrant aromas of fennel, dried fruits and fig tree leaves; as well as a distinct mineral quality that is a result of the volcanic soils.

Listán Negro is a grape that Viñátigo cultivates in the mid-lands, in the north-west of Tenerife. This grape is a native grape variety of the Canary Islands, as it originated from a natural crossing between the grapes Listán Blanco and Negramoll, both brought by Portuguese and Andalusian settlers between the 15th and 18th centuries.The grapes are hand-harvested by mid- September and the wine ages in old barrels for three months. It’s a delightful and juicy red, with aromas of black pepper, dark fruits, and a strong mineral, volcanic character.

Formed in 2001 by merging the historical Gries Winery (1908) and St. Magdalena Winery (1930), Cantina Bolzano combines traditional expertise with a youthful, visionary approach. Grapes are sourced across a variety of distinctive vineyard locations, ranging from 240 to 800 meters above sea level, utilizing both alluvial valley floors and sandy hillside soils. Their rigorous selection process and green cultivation methods yield high-quality grapes, resulting in a wide range of wines across their Classic, Election, and Riserva lines.

Pinot Grigio is one of Italy’s most prominent and notable white wines. Vibrant & Crunchy

“The Farm” is a 10-acre vineyard in Niagara’s Twenty Mile Bench, planted to Pinot Noir. The property is rooted in traditions of gathering family & friends, and where Peter and Dora Neudorf call home.

THE FARM, Poolhouse Rosé, is made from Gamay grown in Lincoln Lakeshore where the soils are rich in clay and high in minerals. We macerated the grapes on skins for 12 hours before gently pressing into a stainless tank where we started with a slow cold wild ferment, which harnessed the vibrant, dark fruit characters and bright acidity. Fermented dry and bottled shortly after.

The wine is dry & refreshing with notes of cherry & raspberry, and a lingering bright acidity.

Rich & Mineral

As typically found in County Chardonnay, this wine starts with aromas of flinty
minerality, Asian pear, and salted caramel. A round palate is filled with flavours of golden delicious apple, baking spices, and a hint of lemon. Put together, it’s like an apple crumble before it’s been baked! The smooth texture and long finish leave you satiating for more.

Our Phillipston Road (Manchego-style) cheese is literally made for this wine. Rich, salty, and nutty, it makes a perfect match. Coquilles St. Jaques, Oysters Rockefeller, halibut, spaghetti cacio e pepe, zucchini ravioli with grated lemon zest, butter poached cod, and chicken with a cream sauce are all wonderful pairings.

Earthy & Peppery

A cooler vintage brings freshness to one of the county’s best varieties. Strawberry, red currant, candied cherry, and a savoury garrigue all burst from the glass. Tones of sumac, cedar, bittersweet chocolate and cinnamon bark bring a discerning finish to this elegant grape. The classic pairing of seared duck breast and mushroom risotto are a must-have.

Classically, a pan seared or confit duck breast with black pepper and wild mushroom risotto is delightful. We also recommend blue cheeses, gruyere, taleggio, jollof with smoked mackerel, grilled pork butt chop with a sumac compote, black truffles, miso chicken, grilled salmon, or tuna sashimi.

Floral & Fruity

Cool-climate Merlot at its best. This wine is loaded with all things blue and moody: damson plums, violet, fig, blue-acai, and chocolate-covered blueberry. Rich oak tones of vanilla, chocolate, and marshmallow balance out the fruit intensity and leave a long yet distinguished finish.

Fatty, high protein foods are recommended to bind with the high tannin and balance the acidity. Roasted leg of lamb with Saskatoon berry compote, coffee-rubbed steak, seared duck breast, creole jambalaya, pork loin with roasted plums, and blue cheeses all go

A blend of fruit from 4 different vineyards from the best appellations across Niagara, the 2021 Pinot Noir is the epitome of the Leaning Post style. This wine combines classic “P(inot)-funk” flavours of candy cane beet root, earth, leaves and dirt with stunning bing cherry and raspberry.  Made in a style that is slightly more approachable than our single-vineyard Pinots, it still shows incredible depth and complexity. The incredibly supple mouthfeel, medium body and balanced acidity frame exceptional flavour intensity, leading to a long, sweeping finish the ends on a decidedly mineral and crunchy note.

Pair this Pinot Noir with smoky glazed ham or easy lentil curry.

This wine will age for 4 to 5 years.  

Spicy & Tropical

Husband and wife duo Ilya and Nadia started Leaning Post winery in Niagara over 10 years ago. Initially a virtual set up, the winery now located on Highway 8, has become a reference producer in Niagara.

Harvested on September 25, 2021, the grapes were destemmed, into concrete tanks where it went through a spontaneous fermentation. It remained in concrete and aged on skins for 25 days, then it was gently pressed into clay amphora (17%) and stainless steel (83%). This wine was racked only a handful of times prior to being bottled unfiltered on April 13, 2022.

This wine represents the evolving nature of wine in Niagara. Orange marmalade, jalapeño pepper jelly, and passionfruit dominate the nose and palate, while elderflower honey, cream and lemon dominate the palate with a rich and oily texture. It is all tied together with bracing acidity, gorgeous texture and a seam of fine tannin. Chill and drink as it warms to reveal new facets of its unique personality.

Enjoy with fish tacos or fish and chips.

Spiced & Round

This blended wine (61% Merlot, 39& Cabernet Franc) always over-delivers massively for the price. Blackberry, cassis, raspberry and mulberry instantly appear on the nose, with lilac, cracked white pepper, licorice and pancetta following closely behind. On the palate, the warmth and weight of the 2020 vintage is immediately evident, with a very broad and weighty mid-palate featuring plum, wild-blueberry, and strawberry layered over dark- chocolate and graphite with wisps of herbs-de-provence and black olive fading in and out.

The powerful but soft tannins make it satisfying to drink now with a good decant, but it will certainly age well over the next 5-8 years. Great with burgers, cured meat, and hard cheese.

Lismore Estate Vineyards, nestled in the foothills of the dramatic mountain range in South Africa, is where Californian-born owner and winemaker Samantha O'Keefe has discovered both paradise and the ideal terroir. With vines planted at 300 meters and a distinctive cool-climate environment shaped by extreme temperature shifts, Lismore crafts rich, complex, and meticulously handcrafted wines that embody a true sense of place. As the pioneer of the "Greyton" Wine of Origin designation, Lismore is celebrated for its exceptional terroir and the unique story told in every bottle.

Barrel fermentation and extended lees contact contribute to this full bodied, elegant and well balanced wine.  Floral notes of passion flower and fynbos, granadilla, guava, gooseberry and green fig on the palate along with an underlying minerality which gives this unique terroir driven wine its signature.

The Schild Family have been grape growers in the Barossa Valley since 1952. Growing the estate from one vineyard to over 134ha across 11 precious sites, their generational wisdom and knowledge of the land allows for premium fruit to flourish each vintage. Their Estate Wine label was created as a small side project and quickly grew in reputation and is now loved worldwide. 

Named after Ed Schild’s grandson, Angus, and the Scottish word ‘Brae’ meaning
a steep hillside, this vineyard is located 4 km north of the Lyndoch Township.
This relatively young vineyard is managed to suit the soil profile and terroir
ensuring premium fruit is produced. The vineyard was purchased by the Schild
family in December 2001 on the day Angus Schild was born.

The wine opens with intense yet bright aromas of dark berry fruit, accompanied by a subtle, inviting creaminess and a touch of spice around the edges. On the palate, it offers a smooth, mouth-filling blend of layered plums, blackcurrant, and dark chocolate—hallmark flavours that have defined this wine across vintages—framed elegantly by fine tannins.

Pair this wine with grilled or roast beef especially served rare or with a pepper sauce. Also, barbecued ribs, sausages or smoked brisket or grilled vegetables. For the cooler months, this wine begs for a rich osso bucco dish.

Francisco Baettig and Carlos de Carlos cut their teeth in the wine industry as part of the well known Errázuriz operation, where they worked together for many years. Inspired by their mutual love of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the talented enologist and savvy businessman branched out to create Vinos Baettig. Produced in small batches and sold as limited editions to selected buyers, their wines have swiftly become some of the most interesting & highly lauded among the emerging talents of Chile.

This Selección de Parcelas was made with Chardonnay grapes grown in Malleco, in the appellation of Traiguén. Malleco is a land of wild forests, beautiful lakes, active volcanoes and abundant rain in southern Chilean. The name Los Primos (the cousins) refers to the closeness of style and quality of the vineyard parcels (named Triángulo and Llaima) that give rise to this wine.

Aromatic and highly complex with notes of pear, apricot, nougat & acacia subtly underscored by whiffs of honeyed wax and sliced almonds & walnuts. The palate is deep and reveals elegant weight with a creamy texture. Abounding with flavours of golden apple, passion fruit, honey, hay and sweet spices, the body and density are harmoniously balanced by the acidity. This is fresh, lively and tense, with a long finish and great aging potential.

Enhance the creamy texture of this wine by pairing along side seafood risotto or semi-soft, aged cheeses.

Winemaker and co-founder Rob Cameron has a colourful winemaking background – learning his craft in unique destinations such as Cyprus, Bulgaria and Hungary before moving on to France, Spain and Italy. For him, the Invivo range is all about taking some of the elegance from the old world and putting that style into amazing grapes, all the while offering wines that are fun and a bit unique.

The nose of this Pinot Gris is vibrant, brimming with ripe pears and subtle hints of candied citrus. The palate follows suit with flavours of crunchy peach and apricot, complemented by delicate white floral notes and a soft, silky texture. This style offers an elegant drinkability, with a well-balanced profile that leads into a clean, crisp finish.

Nicolas Potel is an iconic producer and pioneer in the Burgundy winemaking scene. He grew up in a family dedicated to wine; and after gaining some experience internationally, he started his own project in the late 90's. The Maison Roche de Bellene offers a complete range of carefully cultivated and versatile wines, often made from old vines. All of the Maison wines are made with respect to sustainable and natural farming practices, with as little intervention as necessary to showcase their individual terroirs.

A fresh and elegant Morey-Saint-Denis made from old vines, highlighting floral and red-fruit notes characteristic of the vintage. Scents of candied cranberries combine with notes of wild strawberry and toasted barrel spice while light, fine-grained tannins and bright acids render a highly approachable style. Despite its youthful exuberance, the wine's structure hints at its ability to further develop with bottle age. 

A great addition to any cellar, match the firmer texture of this wine with protein based dishes made with braised or roasted meats or enjoy it alongside washed rind cheeses.

Winemaker and co-founder Rob Cameron has a colourful winemaking background – learning his craft in unique destinations such as Cyprus, Bulgaria and Hungary before moving on to France, Spain and Italy. For him, the Invivo range is all about taking some of the elegance from the old world and putting that style into amazing grapes, all the while offering wines that are fun and a bit unique.

Spicy dark cherries and a toasty cinnamon fill the nose initially, followed by inviting layers of plums and white chocolate. The palate is full bodied and dense with sweet, dark red stone fruits lifting from all aspects of the mouthfeel, underpinned by a voluptuous pairing of new French oak. Silky fine tannins give the wine structure, along with perfectly balanced acidity. 

Try this alongside game birds like roasted duck or quail. This will also sing with soft cheeses and salty snacks as well as being a standout on its own!

Proudly family owned, the Borthwick vineyard is an established vineyard situated in Gladstone, the heart of the Wairarapa. Producing quality wine for over a decade, Paddy, an experienced wine maker, has gained a reputation for producing consistently great wines. The twenty seven hectares of vines bordering the Ruamahunga River are growing on stony, free draining, alluvial soils, with a micro climate giving warm daily temperatures, cool nights and low rainfall; perfect conditions for producing distinctive, quality wines.

Perfumed aromas of apricots, nectarines and green pears. A rich mid-palate displaying mild oak influence. The wine finishes dry and crisp with lingering hints of warming spice.

The gentle acidity and marked fruitiness of a well balanced Pinot Gris perfectly complements roast pork with a stewed pear sauce. This will also compliment creamy pastas, poultry and seafood.

The siblings Francesco, Lorenzo, and Caterina Cordero, are grandchildren of Luciana Vietti & Alfredo Currado, one of the pioneers of the first Barolo crus and considered the “father of Arneis.” Their father is Mario Cordero, Alfredo and Luciana’s son-in-law, who was the company’s co-owner from the beginning of the ‘80s until 2016 when it was sold.

The Oltrepò Pavese is a hilly triangle of land in Lombardy, embraced by Piedmont, Liguria, and Emilia-Romagna. A territory dedicated to the cultivation of vines and the culture of wine for centuries: a land of both cultural and gastronomic encounter and exchange. Cordero San Giorgio is in the town of Santa Giuletta, and focuses on working with Pinot Nero, Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay.

This is a fresh and balanced Pinot Grigio, which maintains the intrinsic finesse of the grape variety with a vibrant, well-balanced acidity. This Pinot Grigio is made from grapes grown in the localitá of Rocca de' Giorgi, at 400 meters above sea level, amidst valleys covered by forests, steep slopes and thick ridges.

Made in stainless steel, this outstanding Pinot Grigio has a pale straw yellow colour with green hues, on the nose, it is fresh floral with fruity aromas of pear, apple, and jasmine. A dry, medium-bodied white wine, with marked crispy acidity. On the palate, it is fresh, well balanced, with a pleasant lingering finish.

Ideal as an aperitif and in combination with fish appetizers and white meats, such as poultry. A good pairing for salads, light and pureed soups, and fish first courses.

The Kloof Street range is all about freshness, balance and great drinkability. This wine has notes of sun ripened pears and wet granite. The palate has a vibrant acidity balanced by a soft, round texture and some pithy character. The wine has a fresh, mineral finish.

We recommend to pair this zesty wine with ceviche-style dishes. Pasta al pesto is another terrific pairing option!
