Winemaker and co-founder Rob Cameron has a colourful winemaking background – learning his craft in unique destinations such as Cyprus, Bulgaria and Hungary before moving on to France, Spain and Italy. For him, the Invivo range is all about taking some of the elegance from the old world and putting that style into amazing grapes, all the while offering wines that are fun and a bit unique.

The Gisborne Chardonnay bursts with ripe peach and toasty oak aromas, with touches of vanilla in the background. On the palate, it's full-bodied and creamy, with bright citrus and melon flavours balanced by fresh acidity. Fermented in French oak barriques (60% new) and aged on lees for six months, it culminates with lovely depth and texture.

Enhance the wine's texture by drinking alongside cream-based soups and sauce-based fare on a sunny day.

Rejecting traditional winemaking norms, Invivo brings elegance from the old world to their original range, featuring Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Rosé. Their collaborations with Graham Norton and Sarah Jessica Parker have further elevated their profile, embodying Invivo's vision of bringing people together to create greatness.

Wine Orbit

90 Points - Sam Kim

It's finely scented on the nose, showing apricot, fig, nougat and oatmeal nuances, leading to a silky palate that's juicy and beautifully rounded. Supple and succulent, finishing lingering and elegant. At its best: now to 2027.
