Founded in 1971 by Véronique and Aimé Guibert, Mas de Daumas Gassac carries forward a winemaking legacy that dates back 13 centuries to the monks of Aniane Abbey. Véronique and Aimé established the estate with a deep respect for the terroir. Since Aimé’s passing in 2016, their sons—Samuel, Gaël, Roman, Amélien, and Basile—have taken over its management, each contributing their expertise while upholding the estate’s core philosophy: respect. Guided by this principle, they see themselves not as alchemists but as stewards of the land, dedicated to crafting wines that embody the wild beauty and complexity of the Haute Vallée du Gassac.

This rich and expressive wine offers enticing aromas of honey, crystallized fruits, tropical notes, and lightly seared almonds. On the palate, fresh floral accents bring levity to its firm, waxy texture, while vibrant flavours of ripe, sun-kissed fruits add depth. A lingering finish with firm acidity provides balance and elegance.

Delicious by itself as an aperitif or with oysters, foie gras or any grilled fish.

An aromatic nose with white peaches, apricots, fresh thyme, rosemary, stones, dried mango and mild spices. It’s medium-bodied with such good volume on the palate. Harmonious with velvety texture. Creamy but fresh. Absolutely delightful. 48% viognier, 13% chardonnay, 13% manseng, 9% chenin and 17% rare varieties. Drink or hold.
