In 2014, Aurélien Dulor, Ludovic and Damien Martial came together around a common dream - to operate a wine property in AOC Graves. Drawing on their shared experience of over 15 years in the wine industry, they found in Château Peyrat the ideal environment to enhance and develop vineyards. Their collective unites passionate investors attached to the Bordeaux wine heritage who share a vision centred on the authenticity of the terroir and respect for the land.

Château Peyrat is located in the town of Cérons, on the famous historic Route des Graves, just a stone's throw from the famed vineyards of Sauternes. The estate promotes restorative work of the soil to bring balance to the local biodiversity in order to best give the wines their unique expression.

Peytar is a natural sparkling wine of great freshness with fine bubbles made unfiltered, without added sulphites, sugars or foreign yeasts. Aromas of yellow pear and crunchy white peach unfold against a backdrop of grapefruit citrus zest and honeysuckle blossoms. Bright and effervescent on the palate, the dry mineral nuances reveal themselves with each sip and linger into the salt-tinged finish.

A easy-to-enjoy sipper that will work wonderfully as an aperitif, as well as make an excellent accompaniment to seafood - try with freshly shucked oysters with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice on top.

90 Points - Roger Voss

Ripe with white fruits, this wine is generously textured. It has a crisp edge, with citrus lifting pear and spice flavours. Drink from 2023.
