Nicolas Potel is an iconic producer in Burgundy. He grew up in a family dedicated entirely to wine; and after gaining some experience internationally, he started his own project in the late 90's.

The style of Vosne-Romanée wines is often described as a combination of elegance and power. The best (and most expensive) Grand Cru wines of this village are often seen as the ultimate expression of Pinot noir: "Vosne, the pearl of the Cote! the vineyards assembled here are the choice of its greatest crus: Romanée and Richebourg, Tache and Suchots, noble wines of velvet, fire, and exquisite grace.

Pair this delicious and delicate wine with roast beef, veal, game birds, or rabbit. Soft cheeses such as camembert and brie also pair beautifully.

This bold, firmly structured Pinot Noir is sourced from vines averaging over 50 years in age. Fiery in tannins and grounded by a smoky, earthen minerality, the concentrated, tightly wound wine offers a deep core of preserved Damson plum and morello-cherry flavors. Hold till 2025 at least. The wine should improve through 2035 and hold much further.
