This Mixed Case includes 2 bottles of each wine:

2 bottles x Conti Riccati Prosecco DOC (Veneto, Italy)
Sparkling | Glera

Conti Riccati vineyards are planted in the rolling hills of Castelfranco, a village located in the Veneto. The winery has been managed by the same family since the 14th century!

This Prosecco has enticing scents of ripe orchard fruit, aromatic herb and fragrant white spring flower. The generous palate doles out juicy white peach, ripe Granny Smith apple and tangerine zest. Fresh acidity brightens the creamy flavours while an elegant mousse imparts finesse.

This wine is very food-friendly. It goes beautifully with antipasto and spicy Asian foods. In the Veneto region, Prosecco is usually paired with cured meats, which makes it the perfect wine to accompany a cheese and charcuterie board.

2 bottles x Paulo Laureano Vinhas Velhas Branco 2021 (Alentejo, Portugal)
White | Antão Vaz, Arinto, Fernão Pires

Paulo Laureano is one of the most respected Portuguese winemakers and a reference for wines in the Alentejo region. Agronomist and oenologist, trained between Portugal, Australia, and Spain, after teaching at the University of Évora for 10 years, he decided to dedicate himself exclusively to what has moved him since 2003, making wine. As the name indicates, this wine is made with old vines of Portuguese native varieties such as Antão Vaz, Arinto and Fernão Pires.

Fresh and elegant, with aromas of tropical fruit, citrus, and hints of white flowers. On the palate, this blend of white varieties is silky and creamy, and has an excellent acidity. Pair this wine with grilled fish and soft cheeses.

2 bottles x Domaine La Grangette 'Poule de Pic' Picpoul de Pinet AOP 2023 (Languedoc-Rousillon, France)
White | Piquepoul Blanc

Christelle and Matthieu Caron are the two brains behind Domaine La Grangette. They elaborate wines under the Picpoul de Pinet appellation. This designation is used within the Languedoc for white wines made from the variety Piquepoul Blanc.

Nestled between the pine forest and the Mediterranean Sea, Christelle and Matthieu apply sustainable practices in their vineyards and other crops. The sea-scented breeze imbues the wine with salinity, resulting in a fresh, floral and citrusy wine, with aromas of lemon zest and tangerine.

Crisp, pure and extremely refreshing, this wine is made to be enjoyed young and sipped on its own all summer long. It pairs nicely with grilled octopus or ceviche!

2 bottles x Mas Carlot Générations Rosé Costières de Nîmes 2022 (Côtes du Rhône, France)
Rosé | Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre

Mas Carlot is situated in the south of the Rhône Valley, extending across 76 hectares of pebbly land southeast of Nîmes. This seductive rosé is a traditional blend of Grenache (50%), Syrah (40%) and Mourvèdre (10%).

Beautifully pale in colour and soft in texture, this is probably the most fashionable vintage to date. Delicate aromas of raspberry, watermelon, citrus fruits & herbes de Provence flow from the glass. The flavours are fruity, dry and crisp with an elegant balance & structure. This is a serious rose at an accessible price.

Mas Carlot Rosé is the perfect rosé to pair with any summer time meal, including tapas and barbecue. It is also a great wine to enjoy with cheese boards or just on it's own at any time!

2 bottles x Bodega Marco Zunino Estancia Argentina Malbec 2019 (Mendoza, Argentina)
Red | Malbec

The dream of four French partners in Argentina's Mendoza Province. The Malbec vines grow in the southwest of San Rafael, an oasis surrounded by large canyons and crossed by two rivers. This Malbec opens up with red fruits, black raspberry and tones of fresh leather. It's chewy and sumptuous on the palate, with firm tannins and a very well balanced acidity.

This is the perfect BBQ wine, but it is also capable of so much more! Rich meats, stews and braises are a great match, or try leaner meats with fruity and hearty sauces such as pork tenderloin with prunes and red wine jus. Another favourite, enjoy alongside a prime rib roast!

2 bottles x Cantine Paradiso Sant'Andrea Nero di Troia / Primitivo 2022 (Puglia, Italy)
Red | Primitivo, Nero di Troia

Cantine Paradiso is located is the South of Italy, in the region of Puglia. Angelo Paradiso, the third generation of winemakers in the family, manages the vineyards and the winery. This wine is a blend of Nero di Troia and Primitivo, two native grapes to Puglia. It has an intense purple colour in the glass. On the nose, it delivers pronounced notes of ripe dark fruit, hints of spices and some floral notes. The palate is juicy with soft tannins and a really nice acidity. It is a very easy-drinking and enjoyable wine.

This wine pairs perfectly with tomato-based dishes: pasta bolognese, veal parmigiana, pizza... But would also be a great pairing with curries and spicy barbecue dishes too!

About the Winery

Bodega Marco Zunino

The dream of 4 French partners in Argentina's Mendoza region can be found 200 kilometers from the district capital, in the South of the region, in the town of San Rafael. It's an oasis surrounded by large canyons and crossed by two rivers, Diamante and Atuel, vital for agriculture and tourism in the region.

The arid climate, rugged landscape coupled with the plane trees located along the country roads and weeping willows bordering its rivers that makes the area reminiscent of the midi region in the South of France.

The thirty-hectare vineyard boasts an exceptional site and an idyllic regional climate for wine producing. The low rainfall, vineyard altitude (670m) and high temperature variations are key to the diversity and quality of San Rafael’s terroir and offers the ideal setting for a truly exceptional quality of grape.

Cantine Paradiso

Cantine Paradiso is located is the South of Italy, in the region of Puglia. During the estate's 60-year history, the Paradiso family have always given the utmost importance to their close ties to Puglia's unique terroir, promoting the area's winemaking culture and constantly improving the quality of their production. The ongoing results confirm the choices made by three generations of down-to-earth vignerons closely bound to tradition and sensitive to innovation.

Conti Riccati

Conti Riccati is located in the rolling hills outside of Castelfranco, Veneto; in the province of Treviso. Their vineyards extend along 20 hectares inside a bigger property that has belonged to the Riccati family since the 14th century.
Valperto Azzoni, his wife along and their four children are the direct descendants of the Riccati family and have the same enthusiasm and respect for the land, that their ancestors had in the past.

Conti Riccati grows mostly Glera, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir though they are most known for their Prosecco.
The winemaker, Salvatore Lovo and the agronomist, Giovanni Pascarella take great pride in making the wines and tending the vineyards for the family. They practice sustainable viticulture and are currently in organic conversion.

Mas Carlot

Mas Carlot is situated in the south of the Rhône Valley, extending across 76 hectares of pebbly land southeast of Nîmes. Originally a 17th century farm, this beautiful estate was resurrected in the 1960's by the Blanc family—it is currently run Cyril Mares of the neighbouring and equally reputable property, Mas Bressades.

The appellation of Costières de Nîmes used to be considered part of eastern Languedoc but the climate, soil, topography and wine are far closer to those just over the river in the Southern Côtes du Rhône. It is now a region very much on the up and is widely recognized as a great source of excellent value wine.
