A to Z Wineworks was started in 2002 by Oregon wine industry veterans: Deb Hatcher (Eyrie), Bill Hatcher (Domaine Drouhin Oregon), Sam Tannahill (Archery Summit) and Cheryl Francis (Chehalem). The two couples worked in the Hatcher's kitchen to build the original blend, which was honoured by Food & Wine magazine as the Best American Pinot Noir under $20. Recognition for A to Z wines as offering dependable quality for great value continues today, making A to Z the top-selling Oregon wine brand.

This Pinot Gris greets with vibrant tropical fruit aromas of guava and papaya, intertwined with notes of lemon curd, white peach, and juicy pear. The fresh palate features flavours of lychee, citrus, and quince, accented by lightly sweet honeycomb nougat. Abundant fruitiness is balanced by restrained acidity, creating a round, weighty mid-palate. This expressive quaff ends with a lovely finish, sure to delight.

This style will be a good match with chicken and pasta served with lemon pesto or a fresh summer salad.

90 Points - Michael Alberty

Golden Delicious apple and Bosc pear aromas let you know refreshment has arrived. This wine has a bit of body to accompany a crisp texture and slightly elevated acidity. Pear, apple butter and lemon flavors are all you need for fun. Best Buy.
