The Piantini family's journey began in Chiusa di Pesio, Italy, where their ancestors left their wine-producing heritage to seek new opportunities in Mendoza, Argentina. Several generations later, the family acquired vineyards in the Cachapoal Valley from the founders of Winery Lagar de Bezana. In 2017, under the new ownership, the winery underwent a transformation, modernizing its processes and facilities, and was rebranded as Lagar de Codegua Terroir. This rebranding reflects a renewed vision and commitment to crafting premium-quality wines aimed at new markets and consumers in Chile and beyond

Situated at the base of the Andes Mountains, this Cabernet benefits from a unique terroir, where clear skies, cool nights, and gravelly soils contribute to its deep colour, refined tannins, and vibrant fruit expression. It offers fresh, delicate aromas of blueberries and blackcurrants, interwoven with savoury notes of pepper, grilled nuts, and cloves. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied with smooth, velvety tannins and finishes with a long, satisfying elegance.

This wine pairs beautifully with well-seasoned red meats such as beef and lamb, especially when served with pepper or mushroom-based sauces. It also complements game meats and hearty stews like veal ragout. For cheese pairings, gruyère, emmental, or manchego offer the perfect balance to enhance the wine’s flavours.

Floral & Mineral

The Puiggros family has been producing wines from their own vineyards in Odena since 1843 for friends and family, however their wines have only been available commercially since 2008. The family came to realize that their traditional techniques and special terroir were something worth sharing with the rest of the world.

Signes del Priorat is Puiggros' first experience in the Priorat. A very limited edition of 600 bottles, made exclusively with Carinyena grapes planted on the steep slopes of the Porrera area. The slate soil on the slopes is known as llicorella ("licorice," due to its dark color) and is the main feature of the soil's terroir and the success of its native grapes.

The region's infertile soil imparts a characteristic minerality to the wine. On the nose, the wine has aromas of lavender and eucalyptus, that mingle with hints of candied fruit, rosemary, caramel and liquorice. Many of the vines harvested for this wine are old and produce low yields, which contributes to the wine's intensity on the palate.

Pair this wine with grilled meats or vegetables, something that will stand up to the tannins in the wine is key here. Avoid chili heat, as alcohol content enhances these flavours.

Vibrant & Crunchy

“The Farm” is a 10-acre vineyard in Niagara’s Twenty Mile Bench, planted to Pinot Noir. The property is rooted in traditions of gathering family & friends, and where Peter and Dora Neudorf call home.

THE FARM, Poolhouse Rosé, is made from Gamay grown in Lincoln Lakeshore where the soils are rich in clay and high in minerals. We macerated the grapes on skins for 12 hours before gently pressing into a stainless tank where we started with a slow cold wild ferment, which harnessed the vibrant, dark fruit characters and bright acidity. Fermented dry and bottled shortly after.

The wine is dry & refreshing with notes of cherry & raspberry, and a lingering bright acidity.

Fine & Elegant

Joan Ramón Escoda has been shaking the pillars of winemaking in his home-country and abroad since the 90's. He is an absolute anarchist, a radical winemaker, a rock'n'roller and a grass-roots innovator; and his wines are everything but banal.

Carmen is made with Cabernet Franc aged for 24 months in French oak barrels. 

Intense & Mineral

Keint-He Winery & Vineyards is a boutique winery located in Prince Edward County. The winery has a strong focus on varietals that are typically grown in Burgundy, specifically Pinot Noir and Chardonnay; through which they truly express the best of the County with wonderful individual expressions. Keint-He’s approach to winemaking is as down-to-earth as it gets and their quality is second to none.

This Melon de Bourgogne varietal wine presents a pale straw hue. The bouquet exhibits subtle notes of fresh mint, complemented by hints of lemon and stone fruit. On the palate, the wine displays a crisp acidity, with flavours of pear, nectarine, and peach unfolding in harmony. The 5-month ageing process in neutral oak imparts a refined character to the wine without overpowering its natural characteristics.

Intense & Mineral

Keint-He Winery & Vineyards is a boutique winery located in Prince Edward County. The winery has a strong focus on varietals that are typically grown in Burgundy, specifically Pinot Noir and Chardonnay; through which they truly express the best of the County with wonderful individual expressions. Keint-He’s approach to winemaking is as down-to-earth as it gets and their quality is second to none.

This Pinot Gris presents a straw-like hue with subtle grey undertones, characteristic of the varietal. The aromatic profile is dominated by notes of mint and minerality, with undertones of eucalyptus and a floral backbone that provides depth and complexity. The palate is light-bodied and refreshing, with citrus flavours of lemon and lime that linger pleasantly. The mouthfeel is lubricative, typical of Pinot Gris, leaving a clean and revitalizing finish.

Textured & Bright

Once the site of a monastery of the Olivetan order, Giovanni Cenci lives and works his family’s generations- old farm, producing some of the most compelling, complete wines of the region. The family farm spans 30 hectares for grains and grazing, with only 7 hectares planted to ancient clones of Grechetto, Trebbiano Toscana, Sangiovese, Merlot, and more; above all, this is an ecosystem for living, not a winery for churning out bottles.

Wine has of course been crucial to this site for hundreds of years, not just because of the people who have worked the land, but rather the uniqueness of the place itself: massive blocks of travertine marble are visible alongside limestone-rich clay soils, giving the wines definition alongside meaningful substance.

Anticello is made with Grechetto grapes, which are destemmed and left in contact with skins for about an hour before starting fermentation. The grapes are then fermented in stainless steel (80%) and wooden barrels (20%). It ages for 7 months in steel with frequent bâtonnage. 

On the glass, it has a deep straw yellow colour with golden hues. On the nose, it has aromas of stone fruit, citrus, and wild flowers. The palate is fruity, savoury, fresh, slightly tannic, soft and powerful.

Bright & Fruity

Led by wine and cheesemaker Glenn Symons, Lighthall Vineyards is proud to make products that reflect the unique qualities of Prince Edward County. The winery specializes in low-intervention winemaking using grapes grown from their 63 acres of limestone-rich vineyards. They are known for high-quality chardonnay, pinot noir, and exceptional sparkling wines.

A delicious expression of County sparkling wine. Made with 100% vidal grapes, the bubbles are created using the Charmat method to preserve the wine’s bright, youthful fruit. Progression features smooth, persistent bubbles and fresh, vibrant acidity. This sparkling displays aromatics of white grapefruit and green apple peel with delicate floral notes which are repeated on the palette.

Served well chilled, Progression is perfect as an aperitif but also plays nicely as the main event.

Mineral & Zesty

Lighthall Vineyards is a small, proud, low volume and high quality winery located in enchanting Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada. As typically found in County Chardonnay, this wine starts with aromas of flinty
minerality, Asian pear, and salted caramel. A round palate is filled with flavours of golden delicious apple, baking spices, and a hint of lemon. Put together, it’s like an apple crumble before it’s been baked! The smooth texture and long finish leave you satiating for more.

Our Phillipston Road (Manchego-style) cheese is literally made for this wine. Rich, salty, and nutty, it makes a perfect match. Coquilles St. Jaques, Oysters Rockefeller, halibut, spaghetti cacio e pepe, zucchini ravioli with grated lemon zest, butter poached cod, and chicken with a cream sauce are all wonderful pairings.

Earthy & Peppery

A cooler vintage brings freshness to one of the county’s best varieties. Strawberry, red currant, candied cherry, and a savoury garrigue all burst from the glass. Tones of sumac, cedar, bittersweet chocolate and cinnamon bark bring a discerning finish to this elegant grape. The classic pairing of seared duck breast and mushroom risotto are a must-have.

Classically, a pan seared or confit duck breast with black pepper and wild mushroom risotto is delightful. We also recommend blue cheeses, gruyere, taleggio, jollof with smoked mackerel, grilled pork butt chop with a sumac compote, black truffles, miso chicken, grilled salmon, or tuna sashimi.

Floral & Fruity

Cool-climate Merlot at its best. This wine is loaded with all things blue and moody: damson plums, violet, fig, blue-acai, and chocolate-covered blueberry. Rich oak tones of vanilla, chocolate, and marshmallow balance out the fruit intensity and leave a long yet distinguished finish.

Fatty, high protein foods are recommended to bind with the high tannin and balance the acidity. Roasted leg of lamb with Saskatoon berry compote, coffee-rubbed steak, seared duck breast, creole jambalaya, pork loin with roasted plums, and blue cheeses all go
great.

Husband and wife duo Ilya and Nadia started Leaning Post winery in Niagara over 10 years ago. Initially a virtual set up, the winery now located on Highway 8, has become a reference producer in Niagara.

A blend of fruit from 4 different vineyards from the best appellations across Niagara, the 2021 Pinot Noir is the epitome of the Leaning Post style. This wine combines classic “P(inot)-funk” flavours of candy cane beet root, earth, leaves and dirt with stunning bing cherry and raspberry.  Made in a style that is slightly more approachable than our single-vineyard Pinots, it still shows incredible depth and complexity. The incredibly supple mouthfeel, medium body and balanced acidity frame exceptional flavour intensity, leading to a long, sweeping finish the ends on a decidedly mineral and crunchy note.

Pair this Pinot Noir with smoky glazed ham or easy lentil curry.

This wine will age for 4 to 5 years.  

Spicy & Tropical

Husband and wife duo Ilya and Nadia started Leaning Post winery in Niagara over 10 years ago. Initially a virtual set up, the winery now located on Highway 8, has become a reference producer in Niagara.

Harvested on September 25, 2021, the grapes were destemmed, into concrete tanks where it went through a spontaneous fermentation. It remained in concrete and aged on skins for 25 days, then it was gently pressed into clay amphora (17%) and stainless steel (83%). This wine was racked only a handful of times prior to being bottled unfiltered on April 13, 2022.

This wine represents the evolving nature of wine in Niagara. Orange marmalade, jalapeño pepper jelly, and passionfruit dominate the nose and palate, while elderflower honey, cream and lemon dominate the palate with a rich and oily texture. It is all tied together with bracing acidity, gorgeous texture and a seam of fine tannin. Chill and drink as it warms to reveal new facets of its unique personality.

Enjoy with fish tacos or fish and chips.

Spiced & Round

Husband and wife duo Ilya and Nadia started Leaning Post winery in Niagara over 10 years ago. Initially a virtual set up, the winery now located on Highway 8, has become a reference producer in Niagara.

This blended wine (61% Merlot, 39& Cabernet Franc) always over-delivers massively for the price. Blackberry, cassis, raspberry and mulberry instantly appear on the nose, with lilac, cracked white pepper, licorice and pancetta following closely behind. On the palate, the warmth and weight of the 2020 vintage is immediately evident, with a very broad and weighty mid-palate featuring plum, wild-blueberry, and strawberry layered over dark- chocolate and graphite with wisps of herbs-de-provence and black olive fading in and out.

The powerful but soft tannins make it satisfying to drink now with a good decant, but it will certainly age well over the next 5-8 years. Great with burgers, cured meat, and hard cheese.

Mineral & Vibrant

Juan Jesús, who is a 4th generation winemaker, founded Viñátigo in 1990 and has worked tirelessly since then identifying, recuperating the native grapes of the Canary Islands. Today, his son Jorge is slowly taking over the viticulture and winemaking of Viñátigo, and is focusing on crafting wines from exceptional micro-vineyards in the north-face of Tenerife. Before settling down in his home-island, Jorge worked alongside great international winemakers in Chile, Argentina and Burgundy.

An island within an island, Paraje La Peña is situated in the highlands of Icod de los Vinos, nestled in a narrow ravine formed by the volcanic eruptions of Mount Teide to the north over the last two thousand years.

For over thirty years, Viñátigo has cultivated this isolated vineyard, protected from the rest of the island by a dense, green pine forest. The vines, trained in parrales, cling to the volcanic walls of the ravine. This training method, a direct influence of the Portuguese settlers who established themselves in the northeastern part of Tenerife in the 16th century, serves as a testament to the region's rich cultural heritage.

At about 450 meters above sea level and with direct exposure to the trade winds, this wine offers surprising freshness and acidity.

Pre-fermentative oxidation. Not controlled-temperature fermentation. Fermented and aged in amphora. All the whites age statically. No batonnage. Barely no racking at all.

Yellow fruit, plums and peach, and a gentle and polished palate with soft acidity and a bitter twist in the finish. This wine has tonnes of tahini, almond paste, smoked sea salt and pine. Tight on the nose explosive on palate with a slight burgundy feeling.

Thompson Steer winery was established in 1990 and is based in the Coonawarra region of the Limestone Coast. The winery itself is named after the meandering lakes and adjoining fields to the vineyards that neighbour the country town of Mundulla. The wines made under this brand reflect all that is unique to this wine growing location. 

A fruit-forward wine brimming with bold flavours of blackcurrant, dark plum, and cherry. Subtle nuances of toasted oak and bitter chocolate balance the richness of the fruit, while velvety tannins lend texture and depth, culminating in a full, rounded mouthfeel. Amidst its intensity, a delicate undercurrent of cedar lingers on the finish, adding a touch of elegance and lift to each sip.

Try with seared hanger, chanterelles and butter spiked with herbs and garlic.

Hardy's constructed the Stonehaven Winery in 1998 with the purpose of showcasing the distinct qualities of the Limestone Coast region in Southern Australia. Following Hardy's acquisition by Constellation and subsequent brand expansion, the winery fell into dormancy after being sold. In early 2021, C.W. Wines acquired both the Stonehaven winery and brand, subsequently reintroducing the Stonehaven label to the market. Now sporting a revitalized appearance and market strategy, Stonehaven aims to appeal to contemporary wine enthusiasts, offering a wine selection suitable for any occasion.

Sourced from 20-year-old estate vineyards, this Cab Sauv presents classic notes of black fruits and dark chocolate, with subtle hints of fragrant herbs and eucalyptus. The palate is smooth and approachable, thanks to careful winemaking and small-batch fermentation. Aged in 30% French oak, the wine takes on added structure and complexity, with delicate nuances of vanilla and spice.

Oenops was founded in 2015 by talented winemaker Nikos Karatzas, who produces a stunning range of distinctive wines from his newly established state-of-the-art winery. He sources indigenous and rare grape varieties grown on exceptional terroir focusing on cool-climate sites and old-vine plots, from carefully selected vineyards in Drama and Macedonia, which have been cultivated by ambitious winegrowers using an organic philosophy. 

Niko adopts a minimal intervention approach and vinifies plot by plot using stainless steel, concrete, oak barrels, and amphora. His aim is to source great fruit and craft wines that reflect the nuances of the native varieties and the identity of the terroir and as a result, he produces a collection of authentic, elegant, and delicious wines. 

The “Dots family” consists of single-varietal wines from indigenous varieties; it is named this way after its illusional label of dots where one can find the name of the variety the wine is made from Exceptional terroirs, minimal intervention viticulture, and wine making with a unique goal: to express clearly and honestly each variety’s character.

After careful sorting and a short cold-soak, slow spontaneous fermentation takes place in tulip-shaped 31hl concrete tanks and a small portion in 5hl open top barrels. 5%-8% whole cluster. Blended right after fermentation, it is aged for 10 months on its fine lees in amphorae. Bottled unfiltered to retain its natural character and elegance.

Cherries and floral notes on the nose enveloped by spices and some mineral notes. On the palate, it is very fruity (cherries and strawberries), with fresh acidity and a very elegant and long finish.

Grapes are sourced from contract growers, mostly from mountainous sites of Heraklion, Crete. After their chilling at 5°C, the grapes are carefully sorted and pressed as whole clusters in a vertical press. Spontaneous fermentation takes place slowly in 4 different types of vessels, from 4 different elements: clay amphorae, concrete tanks, large barrels of 600L and stainless steel tanks, providing the wine with impressive complexity and depth.
Wine is aged for 6 to 9 months in amphorae and concrete tanks, with only a small percentage in the old large barrels, in order to preserve all of its purity of fruit and taste; after that, wine is bottled unfiltered to retain its purity and elegance.

Complex nose of citrus with hints of white flowers and herbs on a mineral shade. It is creamy and layered in the mouth with flavors of stone fruits, lime and spices. It’s lively acidity provides freshness to the wine and a persistent after taste.

Great match for fish, oysters, Asian cuisine, pasta, and a wide selection of cheeses.

Rue Naujac by Nicholas Peace Wines is a heartfelt tribute that effortlessly combines New World terroir with Old World "savoir-faire." This Columbia Valley Merlot reflects the experiences of négociant and wine agent Nicholas Peace, blending his New World roots with the influence of his time studying in Bordeaux. The name honours both the street Nicholas once called home and Bordeaux’s designation as France’s 33rd department. Nicholas’s fondness for referring to Bordeaux as "The 33," a nickname that delighted his French friends, made Rue Naujac Lot 33 the perfect way to capture the essence of his unique perspective and journey.

Medium-weight offering both elegance and complexity through its inviting aromas of mulled spice, plum, and red currants, with subtle hints of raspberry and espresso. On the palate, it delivers a luxurious mouthfeel, delivering plush flavours of vanilla, cocoa, and black cherry, supported by fine-grained tannins. The wine culminates in a fresh, balanced finish that resounds with echoing notes of cola. 

Pair with BBQ meats, rich stews or steak.

Peter Sichel (of the Bordeaux négociant family) first discovered the valley of Cucugnan on a road trip with a friend in the 1960s. He was so spellbound by the place that he bought a house there and, in 1988, planted a vineyard. The project grew, albeit slowly, but the arrival of Peter’s thoughtful and environmentally inspired grandson, Alexander Sichel, has turned the Domaine Peter Sichel project completely around.

Montanha is made from Grenache . The vines are cultivated between 300 and 400 meters above sea level on clay-limestone mountain slopes. After a short infusion of 2.5 days, the must is pressed and the wine finishes its fermentation in concrete vats .

Montanha, meaning "Mountain" in Occitan, is a refreshing infusion crafted from fresh mountain fruits. The wine presents a clear ruby hue, accompanied by a clean and expressive nose featuring notes of red fruits and wild strawberries. Its profile reveals a fine and elegant structure, making it a delightful experience for the senses.

"Petite France" is a single vineyard wine, crafted exclusively from 100% Carignan grapes. Nestled at a lofty 450m in clay-limestone mountain hills, this organically grown marvel is on its journey to full biodynamic certification, reflecting a commitment to sustainable viticulture. Hand-harvested with care, the grapes are fermented gently with 40% whole cluster and native yeasts before aging in 500L barrels for a year.

With a captivating ruby red hue and hints of garnet, its clean nose reveals enticing notes of wild strawberries and red fruits. This wine's elegant structure and refreshing roundness make it a perfect match for hearty dishes like rib of beef or spicy beef bourguignon. A delightful companion, it promises to evolve beautifully, offering pleasant surprises for years to come.

Château de Parnay, steeped in history, traces its origins to the Middle Ages, with its first fortress dating back to the 10th-11th century. Rebuilt in 1820 in a Renaissance style, the estate changed hands multiple times, most notably passing to Antoine Cristal in 1887, whose family retained it until 1996. Since 2006, the property has been under the stewardship of Mr. Vincenot, who has upheld its rich winemaking traditions. In 2002, Vincenot acquired the Château Princé estate, located just outside Angers in Saint-Melaine-sur-Aubance. The vineyards, set on a shale hillock overlooking the River Aubance, are primarily planted with Chenin, producing distinctive dry and sweet white wines.

This wine opens with an elegant nose of white fruits layered with smoky flint, a signature of the estate's ochre schist terroir. Subtle hints of fruit and menthol add complexity and an invigorating touch to its aromatic profile. On the palate, it offers impressive balance and surprising intensity, with flavours of quince and fresh apricot beautifully enhancing its pronounced minerality. The finish is textured and expressive, highlighted by a saline acidity that mirrors the refinement of the great whites from the Loire Valley.

On the nose, it presents a bouquet of fresh dark fruits, with notes of ripe blackberry, succulent plum, and a hint of cherry, intertwined with subtle floral undertones and a whisper of earthiness. The vinification technique, emphasizing a short maceration, allows the wine to express its fruity aromas elegantly while avoiding overly harsh tannins. The Schild Family have been grape growers in the Barossa Valley since 1952. Growing the estate from one vineyard to over 134ha across 11 precious sites, their generational wisdom and knowledge of the land allows for premium fruit to flourish each vintage. Their Estate Wine label was created as a small side project and quickly grew in reputation and is now loved worldwide. 

Named after Ed Schild’s grandson, Angus, and the Scottish word ‘Brae’ meaning
a steep hillside, this vineyard is located 4 km north of the Lyndoch Township.
This relatively young vineyard is managed to suit the soil profile and terroir
ensuring premium fruit is produced. The vineyard was purchased by the Schild
family in December 2001 on the day Angus Schild was born.

The wine opens with intense yet bright aromas of dark berry fruit, accompanied by a subtle, inviting creaminess and a touch of spice around the edges. On the palate, it offers a smooth, mouth-filling blend of layered plums, blackcurrant, and dark chocolate—hallmark flavours that have defined this wine across vintages—framed elegantly by fine tannins.

Pair this wine with grilled or roast beef especially served rare or with a pepper sauce. Also, barbecued ribs, sausages or smoked brisket or grilled vegetables. For the cooler months, this wine begs for a rich osso bucco dish.

Francisco Baettig and Carlos de Carlos cut their teeth in the wine industry as part of the well known Errázuriz operation, where they worked together for many years. Inspired by their mutual love of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the talented enologist and savvy businessman branched out to create Vinos Baettig. Produced in small batches and sold as limited editions to selected buyers, their wines have swiftly become some of the most interesting & highly lauded among the emerging talents of Chile.

This Selección de Parcelas was made with Chardonnay grapes grown in Malleco, in the appellation of Traiguén. Malleco is a land of wild forests, beautiful lakes, active volcanoes and abundant rain in southern Chilean. The name Los Primos (the cousins) refers to the closeness of style and quality of the vineyard parcels (named Triángulo and Llaima) that give rise to this wine.

Aromatic and highly complex with notes of pear, apricot, nougat & acacia subtly underscored by whiffs of honeyed wax and sliced almonds & walnuts. The palate is deep and reveals elegant weight with a creamy texture. Abounding with flavours of golden apple, passion fruit, honey, hay and sweet spices, the body and density are harmoniously balanced by the acidity. This is fresh, lively and tense, with a long finish and great aging potential.

Enhance the creamy texture of this wine by pairing along side seafood risotto or semi-soft, aged cheeses.
