Pardevalles is recognized for being one of the driving forces behind the D.O Tierra de León, betting on the development of the indigenous grape varieties Prieto Picudo and Albarín Blanco.
Gamonal has ripe red fruit aromas with notes of harmonized toast from the barrel and soft touches of liquorice, that are characteristic of the variety. It's a powerful but cool varietal. The rich tannins blend perfectly with the fruit, achieving feelings of meatiness and a very good persistence on the finish.
It is perfect for Spanish tapas like charcuterie and cheese boards, olives, 'pa amb tomaquet' (bread topped with tomato and garlic), and omelette with potatoes and onions.
